THE NINJA QUEST STORY
HOW WE GOT HERE
While researching ways to provide safer, year-round training for our kids (the backyard Ninja course was a bit difficult to maintain during the rainy season), we realized that Seattle is the only major city in the US without a dedicated facility for Ninja training. We quickly generated a business plan, and gathered our life savings, with the vision of bringing the sport of Ninja to Seattle's children.

Safety is paramount — so the majority of our capital was spent on trusses that support 5–6 adults simultaneously, and mats that create a safe place to land. We also required a location that could be accessible year-round, since Ninja competitions aren't limited to a specific season. Our current location is small but mighty, utilizing innovative layouts to make the most of our space.
OUR FACILITY
NINJA HEAVEN
Located in Issaquah, and proudly serving the Eastside and Greater Seattle Metro area, our Ninja Warrior Training facility is a hub of excitement and challenge. With state-of-the-art and continuously-evolving obstacles, we cater to all skill levels and age groups — ensuring each Ninja can push their boundaries. Safety is paramount, with ample mats and padding throughout the facility.

From iconic challenges like the slanted steps, warped wall, and salmon ladder — to the daunting devil steps — our facility is constantly updated to keep pace with the dynamic Ninja scene. Come join us and unleash your inner Ninja!

MEET OUR COACHES
TIM SCHNEE
HEAD COACH/DIRECTOR
Tim — a 6-year veteran competitor on the hit NBC TV show American Ninja Warrior under the nickname "Gray Fox Ninja" — has competed once in the Ninja World Cup and 6 times in the Ultimate Ninja Athlete Association World Championships. His experience includes coaching Seito Shito-Ryu Karate and class IV girls' competitive gymnastics. Tim has been competing in the sport of Ninja Warrior for over 8 years and is so excited to share this amazing sport with you.
SOPHIA BLATTENBAUER
COACH
Sophia is passionately dedicated to the sport of ninja warrior — having trained for over three years and coached for over two — and loves the competitive side of this sport, placing top 10 and 15 in various international championships. Her favorite obstacle is anything super grippy — especially cliffhangers — as she also enjoys rock climbing. She is a huge fan of the show, fitness, nutrition, and health overall. Sophia hopes to pursue a career in sports medicine, as well as open up her own Ninja Quest Adventures gym in the future.

ABBY WONG
ADMIN / ASST COACH
Abby doesn't have much experience with Ninja (yet), but she loves an adventure, and is practicing everyday! Abby has an unquenchable thirst for excitement and a passion for trying new things. She is always eager to make new friends and her positive energy shines in everything she does. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, going on walks with her dog, and an occasional power nap.
HARRY DAVIS
COACH
Harry's priority as a coach is to inspire confidence in all of his students. After warmup games that combine function and fun he likes to start classes with progressions of a move that looks scary at first, gradually increasing the difficulty. Afterwards he likes to end with a mini-course for some fun competition and to give the student's a chance to apply the skills they just learned into a different setting.

ELLA DOAN
COACH
You may know Ella — our newest coach — as a coach at Gymnastics East. Ella likes to ensure a solid foundation, using different drills and techniques to build towards more difficult skills. She believes in making class engaging and enjoyable while instilling a mutual respect between coach and athletes regarding safety and rules. Ella enjoys baking, spending time with friends, and a good joke or fun fact. Ella has studied sports medicine for 3 years and can name every bone in the body and most of the muscles. She is also certified in Basic Life Support.
CLARIE ZHAO

Clarie is an avid dancer and cheerleader — her graceful movements and infectious spirit leave an impact on everyone around her. She enjoys being outside, as well as having quiet time indoors with her family and cat, Mango. In her free time, she likes to play cello, scrapbook, and crochet. Clarie is excited to learn all about the Ninja world and start coaching soon!
SARA BLATTENBAUER
COACH
Sara, a senior in High School, has been training in the sport of Ninja Warrior since she was 14. One of her favorite memories during her ninja career was going to the World Ninja League Finals in Greensboro, North Carolina to compete with her entire ninja team. In her free time, she also enjoys rock climbing, skiing, and hanging out with friends. She also hopes to open her own Ninja Quest Adventures gym in the future.
